Through papers, discussions, and musical performances, this daylong symposium sampled the complex diversity of musical styles, cultures, religions, and ethnicities that is Israel today. (Left and middle) Continuum, renowned contemporary chamber ensemble play works by Tsvi Avni, Betty Olivero, and Benjamin Yusupov; (right) Divahn, an all female band, playing Mizrahi ethnic and popular music.
